Domestic violence can happen to anyone, and providing support and services to the victims takes on many forms.The New Jersey Department of Children and Families (DCF) is partnering with HopeLine from Verizon, a national cell phone recycling and re-use program that turns no-longer-used wireless phones into support for victims of domestic violence.

Verizon Wireless has expanded its 4G Long Term Evolution (LTE) network to more customers in the Northern New Jersey area by turning on additional cell sites in Newark, Lodi, Jersey City, Hackensack, South Plainfield, Linden, and Florham Park.
“Now, even more residents and small businesses have access to the blazingly fast 4G LTE speeds and the brand new line of devices that make it easy to share music, photos and files on-the-go”said Pat Devlin, president of Verizon Wireless, New York Metro Region.

Verizon Wireless has expanded its network coverage in the Northern New Jersey area by activating a cluster of 4G LTE cell sites across Essex, Morris and Somerville Counties. The network launches today and will be available to customers in the following cities and towns:
