Trade In Your Old Device and Receive a Gift Card at all Verizon Wireless Communications Stores
This Valentine’s Day, Verizon Wireless encourages customers to share their love for the planet by participating in the newly launched In Store Trade-In program. Through the program, customers who are purchasing a new device can trade in their no-longer-used wireless devices at any Verizon Wireless company-owned store and kiosk nationwide and receive a Verizon Wireless gift card in exchange for their devices.
Depending on the make, model and condition of their trade-in device, eligible participants can receive an instantly redeemable gift card of up to $300 for use toward the purchase of a new phone, tablet or accessory – or toward their Verizon Wireless bill.

The Verizon Application Innovation Center is a place for developers, network engineers, entrepreneurs and others to work together on innovative applications that take advantage of Verizon Wireless’ leading 3G and 4G LTE mobile networks. The San Francisco facility is connected to Verizon’s LTE Innovation Center, located in Waltham, Mass., to optimize synergies between development activities at each location. The new space includes several collaboration labs and private development labs, and it offers access to Verizon Wireless equipment; services; and Verizon Wireless experts in application development, software development, network APIs, network performance and business development.
Verizon Wireless smartphone and tablet customers have a variety of ways to monitor and manage their wireless data usage, including new text message alerts that will be sent to smartphone customers to help them keep track of monthly domestic data usage.
Smartphone users will now to receive free text message alerts when their data usage crosses thresholds of 50 percent, 75 percent, 90 percent, 100 percent and 110 percent of their data plans’ monthly allowances. Customers who are registered with My Verizon, the online account management tool, may also request email alerts and can add up to three additional email addresses to receive the notifications.
